  • Yes, diagnosed two months ago - came on about 5, resulting from two sphenoid surgeries. Aweful, but they tell me curable.

  • Yes. Just diagnosed in March of 2007 after suffering from something called.......Spontaneous Extracarnial Right Vertebral Artery Dissection with Peusdoaneurysm back in July of 2006. I've had nerve blocks and RFL's to deaden the pain at the base of my skull as well as over my right ear and down my neck. My next step is an implant which I don't know much about. I go for education about the procedure on Monday April 9th 2007. I can tell you that it is very painful, but there is hope with what I'm told and that's the thought I try and hold on to.

  • Did you get the procedure on Apr 7? I'm curious to know what it was and how it went. I've been dealing with Occipital Neuralgia for a couple of years. I don't really want to have to continue to get injections (they aren't lasting long any more) nor do I want to stay on muscle relaxers, anti-inflammatory and pain pills indefinitely. Thanks, Robin
