5 to 7 days ago I would feel light chest pain, which I truly am not sure is really chest pain, just discomfort which feels like it is close to my heart. I suffer from anxiety pretty bad, but do not take medication for it, anyhow I was feeling the pain and would get myself all worked up about it to the point where I would feel like I needed to run to a hospital or to get help. If and when I was alone at home it was worse, I also forgot to mention this pain was acompanied by belching, I would feel the need to make myself belch to alleviate what felt like pressure. This has gone on through the weekend and yesterday I woke up feeling slightly disoriented or lightheaded, it lasted a couple hours then I went to the movies and was fine the whole movie, but once I got back home the lightheadedness and occasional chest pains were there again. I went to the store and bought antacid chewable tablets and took some hopoing that my symptoms are just a combination of gas and my anxiety since I don't really feel the pains until I start worrying about what could be causing me to feel the way I do. I am at work now and throughout the day I have had a few little pains that come and go really quick, let me also mention when I say pain I don't mean pain that makes me scream out or hunch over just slight semi-sharp pain which kinda feels like air bubbles around my heart or chest area, just under my chest on the left some and then some on the right, almost like it moves, but I assume due to my anxiety when I focus or think about/worry about it to much it seems to happen more frequently. The light headedness I experience is like a specey feeling in my head and affects my vision a bit making me feel like I cannot focus or pay attention. This light headedness has only been going on the past 2 days, which is why I am writing here to see if anyone has experienced simliar to these symptoms, and to see if I am just getting a worse case of anxiety or if this is truly a problem I should seek medical attention for. Thanks for taking the time to read and respond.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
