This began 3 months ago when I went for a seemingly simple procedure for spider veins in my legs called slerotherapy. I began feeling pins and needles in my legs and four days later had a major nervous system breakdown and had was losing consiousness and had to go by ambulance to the hospital. I am still dealing with numbness, burning sensations, fear of fainting, and spontaneous parasthesias all over my body to the point where I have to be on medical leave. I have been for ultrasounds, numerous blood tests, an MRI and have even tried going to naturopath because I am just not getting any answers. Doctors seem to be dumbfounded. Meanwhile, these symptoms are persisting and intensifying. Can anyone help?

  • I don't want sound pessimistic, but I have been going through the same thing..... for 5 years. They can find nothing wrong with me, but said it MIGHT be radiation damage from cancer treatments I had in 1998. I don't faint though. I need cane to walk now. Lost all the feelings in both feet, both ankles, the backs of both legs, and my butt.
