Numbness to tongue, lips and fingertips

3 or 4 months ago I started noticing a lack of sensitivity to hot beverages or food. My lips and tongue felt approx. 40-50% numb and have remained constantly that way since. A month or so after I noticed my fingertips would tingle under hot water and are basically at the same numbness as my tongue and lips.

Talked to my doctor about it but he was stumped. I'm waiting to have a catscan done.

Any ideas?
