Im in SO MUCH pain with wierd symptoms. these are my symptoms, they may all correlate but maybe not. Ok, I am always in pain and can only sleep on the floor for relief. I get heart burn badly and chest pain. I have a lump under my left ribs at the bottom which is painful sometimes and is bigger sometimes than others, when I apply preasure to it my stomach gets more upset. One Dr. thought it was just scar tissue. The pain extends up and over my left sholder and I get painful Knots under my shoulder blade along with cracking and popping in my shoulder. I have been having numbness/tingling in my arms and legs and just Sunday in my face too! My back and neck always hurt and I have been seeing a chiropractor for that. Once about a month ago I had a huge knot at the top of my spine into the back of my head which I rubbed out easily, but ended up in the E.R. that night because along with the numbness my vision was a bit blurred and I also had pain around my left knee. I thought maybe I was having a heart attack or stroke. I also have had a bit of incontinence, 3 times. I had pain behind my right ear 2 weeks ago which surfaced as a ****y/ fluid filled lump about the size of a thumbtack. I get headaches and have been under a lot of stress. The E.R. Dr. didnt see much wrong with me but suggested an MRI because he thought I might have spinal stenosis??? I dont have health insurance and cant afford the MRI right now, I am working on getting the insurance but should I get in soon?! and if so, what type of a Dr. do I go to see??? please help

  • Try MMS from Jim Humble for a couple of weeks and then try a class in Feldenkrais which is awareness through movement (ATM). I am in the same boat as you and am ****ting my pants with fear not knowing what it is. I am going to give both of these a try and see how it goes....

  • Have you considered it might be Multiple Sclerosis? It affect the nerves so can cause tingling and numbness, chronic pain and also incontinence as the nerves to the bladder and bowels can be affected. It's just a thought. I am a student nurse in the UK.

  • I would advise you to have your spinal cord checked and the peripheral nervs, the pain may be caused by the presure applied on the anterior and posterior roots of the nervs, incontency may be caused by the malfunction of the autonomous nervos system

I have had no diagnosis to this point. I am to be scheduled to see a neurologist in the near future I hope. I was wondering if you have been diagnosed yet, and if so what was it? Hope to hear from you

  • I hope my answer is better late than never at all. I sure do hope you will investigate Hyperparathyroidism (not "thyroid). You have many of the classic symptoms related to this disease. Good luck, if you are still struggling!
