I am a 45 year old male. I have been running most of my life. I run up to 10K (6.2 miles) Recently my left foot has sterted to go numb at about the 5 mile mark. I have also started to get the numbness when playing soccer after about half an hour. My shoes are really not tigt. I have just bought a new pair of running shoes and they are one size larger than my old ones. They too give me the same numbness after 5 miles. Any suggerstions would be appreciated.

  • Maybe you have ischemia in your left foot(claudicatio intermittent),and the main cause is arteriosclerosis but to make sure you must see your doc to further test.
