Over the past month i have been rushed to the er for a really bad pain in my left temple that went to my left ear it lasted about 5 minutes loss of breath, hot flash, and pasted out for about 10 minutes they did an MRI of my brain and an x-ray of my lungs everything came back normal... so they discharged me i still get these headaches they start as a stabbing pain in my left temple and then go to my ear then i get the hot flashes all over now i also have a burning feeling on my face like its sun burnt and it feels hot to the touch no fever... please if anyone out there has the same symptoms please let me know if you have any ideas of what this could all be symptoms again:

  • You may have what's called a cluster headache ("vascular headaches that occur in a series of 3 or more severe headaches in a period of several days; may recur on a seasonal basis; often occur on weekends after letdown of pressure; may be preceded by a burning discomfort in the temple or eye, followed by a steady or throbbing pain; often associated with ipsilateral conjunctival vascular congestionand lacrimation, salivation, and blockage of nasal passages; pain on the side of the forehead may spread bilaterally and be accompanied by a deep pain in the neck; use of alcohol, nitrates, nicotine or other vasodilators may trigger an attack" from http://www.sh.lsuhsc.edu/fammed/OutpatientManual/Headache.htm).Another but more rare cause of temporal pain is giant cell arteritis, but given your relatively young age, I think that's unlikely.
