Anyone have suggestions for the following symptoms;
- cold foot (right)
- swelling of foot (right)
- swelling of ankle (right)
- no pain
- cannot stand on it.

Woke last Tuesday with what I thought was a stiff calf muscle - stretched it out then went walking. This continued and got worse until I could not walk properly at all come Friday. Got an ultrasound done for DVT, Calf tear, but was all clear.

Been tested for spider bites, calcium and magnesium, etc. No hits.....

Any suggestions appreciated as I need to get back on my feet.

  • It can be a DVT higher up in the system, ie in your right femoral or right common iliac vein. Have they checked all the way up? It can be difficult to check the iliac vein with ultrasound (can be done only if you're very slim), you might need a phlebography or MRV. If it's DVT you need treatment ASAP to prevent postthrombotic syndrome. Good luck!
