Nose/sinus infection spread to other parts?

First off, I’m a bit of a hypochondriac, just wanted to get that out of the way. I also have OCD which has caused me to pick my nose compulsively for years, more so over the last year give or take a month or two. Anyhow, I managed to get my OCD under control (at least the nose picking aspect) and now I am dreadfully worried that I have a sinus infection (from the picking) that has spread to my eyes and brain or is in the process of spreading to my eyes and/or brain. So of course I look up all the possible complications from a sinus infection (thrombosis, sepsis, etc) and now I feel dreadfully ill. I do have a couple of visible scabs in my nose but I’m not sure if they are infected and they actually look to be getting a bit better now that I have my ocd under control. What are the odds that I have a terrible systemic infection with no fever and/or not “looking” terribly ill? Also, if an infection did spread to my brain would it have a definitively noticeable affect (very high fever, inability to think or rationalize, etc)

These medical websites are a blessing to the truly ill but a curse to people like me who read symptoms and convince themselves they have something they may not.

Thanks for any help I am a mess and I am driving my wife insane.
