I have had my period since July. I have made a doctors appt. but I am seeking more advice because my doctor tends to blame everything on my weight problem. I do have a underactive thyroid, low iron, and a vit. D deff. I am taking meds for all. This started 2 months before my doctor changed my throid med. Can anyone give me some information on this problem it getting very hard to deal with and I am worried.

  • Hopefully your going to a gynecologist. They are very smart when it comes to that stuff.

  • Are you on any form of birth control? I had Depo shots, and bled continuously for a year after stopping them. Had to do with the hormones the shots gave. That is always a possibility. There could also be growths or problems with your ovaries or uterus. But see a doctor. They're the only ones who can diagnose that.
