  • I know this is an old post. But perhaps this will help someone. I also suffer from overly-sensitive hearing. I have not received treatment for it yet. I just wanted to say that I also have sinus problems. Perhaps there is a link between sinus problems and overly-sensitive hearing. If anyone can confirm/deny this assumption, I would appreciate a post.If I find a cure, I will be sure to post.My overly-sensitive hearing also causes confusion/discomfort. I am having problems with coworkers who want to play music on a stereo with an amplifier. I get nothing but reverb. The surround sound and base vibrates my eardrums. They even play news broadcasts through the speakers which makes me feel as if the voices are everywhere. I have complained several times. They get mad, it gets quiet, then within 2 weeks the noise is right back at the same level. I would appreciate any suggestions. THANKS.
