I am a 25 year old female. For the past six months I have had horrible pain in my armpits from many nodules that run underneath my armpits and around the bottom of the scapula. It began in the right armpit and then the nodules spread to the left armpit, mirroring the right side. The pain continues to increase and the nodules continue to multiply. I have now found a nodule on the right side of my neck about 2 1/2" below my ear. It has a diameter of about 3/4" and is painful like the other nodules. I have had the following tests:

*Mammogram (normal)
*Ultrasound on breast areas (normal)
*Chest CT Scan (normal)
*MRI of breasts (normal)
*Bloodwork (no signs of cancer, awaiting results of latest tests)

The doctors have ruled out breast cancer and lymphoma. The nodules are not swollen lymphnodes. I have no other symptoms (no joint pain, no fever). I have been on Biaxin (aka Clarithromycin, an antibiotic) and Etodolac (an anti-inflammatory) for about two weeks. I have seen no improvements and it seems to continue spreading, as I just found the lump on my neck.

Any ideas as to what this could be?? I'm a little scared now that the lumps are moving into my neck.
