In February of 2010, my best friend was on the phone and got really upset with the person she was talking to. All of the sudden, after becoming irate on the phone, her hand went limp and she dropped the phone. Her face on the right side began to droop and her eye went shut. She said that she had the worst headache of her life. She had severe pain radiating down her right arm and leg. We took her to the hospital and they diagnosed her with TIA. She followed up with her doctor who refused to listen to what had been going on.
Long story short. She is now having these same episodes 3 to 4 times per day and they last anywhere from 1 1/2 hours to sometimes 4 and 5 hours. She has seen several neurologists and noone can come up with a diagnosis. They have all but given up. Please help..
