About a year ago, my mom was having reflux problems and they ran a scope down her throat to look. The next morning she had lost her voice and it was all down hill from there. She said it felt like a knot in her throat, she has had swelling on the right side of her throat, sharp pains through her body, muscle spasms, fatigue, migraines (which she had before, but not as bad) and body aches. She said it feels like all her nerves are exposed, her jaw feels like needles going through it down her neck to her arms and she has trouble standing after stooping down and is in constant pain. She has been to about 11 different dr.'s and they are all baffled. Even had botox shots in her neck hoping to bring back her voice. It's been well over a year and she still can't talk above a whisper. Any input as to what this could be would be GREATLY appreciated.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
