This nightmare started 21 months ago with a severe pain in my right calf. After having x-rays, and ultrasounds, they found nothing that would cause such pain. 3 days later, I noticed numbness and tingling in my pinky and ring fingers on both hands, and a horrible stiff neck that would not go away. I have stabbing, burning sensations in the muscles in my arms, legs, back and neck. Horrible muscle cramping that lasts for days at a time. For almost a year now, I have had 'floaters' in both eyes, that are constant, and annoying.
at times, I can feel electric shocks that run down my arms, back and right leg. Repetavitive movements cause my muscles to become weak and sore.
Sitting for more than 15-30 minutes makes my neck pain severe. There has not been a single day in the past 21 months that I have not been in pain. Several pain meds have been prescribed including Tramadol, and nothing touches it.
About a year ago, I also developed drop foot on the right side. Most of my worse symptoms occur on the right side. However, in the past month I have developed symptoms on the left side that are slowly copying the right side. My pinky toe is going numb, and my sense of balance is even worse now than before.
I have dizziness, an inability to fall asleep at night...lucky if I get 3-6 hours of sleep a night. I am fatigued almost every day.
I have had EMG's - 4 to be exact, which show NO nerve damage. 3 brain MRI's, showing 6 small lesions on the front temperal lobes (right and left). There are no buldging discs, or any spine abnormalities. Blood work keeps coming back 'within normal limits'.
I am tired, and sick of seeing specialists who tell me either there is nothing wrong, or they know something is wrong, they just have no idea.
I do not have Lyme disease, 4 tests comfirm that. I also took medication for fibromyalgia for 3 months to find out that I do not have it. I have been cleared of depression as well.
I also have a sensativity to heat, become weak, tired, and faint if exposed to humidity for any extended period of time.
Anyone have any thoughts???? thanks!
