Ok, i have a feeling something is really wrong but i cant get anyone to take me seriously. Im sorry this is so long but i have been dealing with this for a long time. i have told probably 7 different doctors and i get blown off every time. I even stooped as low as to bring in photos, graphs, etc. Most wont even run any tests even though i am private pay so we arent sticking it to any ins. Co. by running pointless labs. Heres the deal:
I am almost 30, i have 3 kids, my mother is type 1 diabetic, has hypothyroidism, there is colon cancer on both sides of the family...lots of history that i wont go into further.
I have a knot on the right side of my neck I thought maybe it was a swollen lymph node but its been the same size for several months and im not too sure there are even nodes there.the best way for me to describe where it is would be to say that its above my voicebox to the right and directly below where you would stick a thermometer. its very painful if touched.
I do have trouble swallowing. i swallow hard and have to tilt my head down some. those ppl that pop a pill and tilt their head back to swallow it amaze me!
I have been getting hives for over a year now. i have had them on all parts of my body. right now they are finding a home on the tops and bottoms of my feet, my ankels, stomach, and arms.
i am SO tired! to which i am told, "3 kids make you tired" ....not THIS tired! When its time for bed i do have a hard time getting to sleep though.
i hurt! my stomach hurts...theres a bit of nasea but mostly its a dull ache. lots of gas.
my lower abdomen aches.
my lower back aches all the way across, my joints ache..hips, shoulders, knees...my Bones hurt. its like when i was a kid and had "growing pains"
recurrant bladder infections. i have now gone about 2 months without one and i think thats a record.
headaches every night..worse at the end of my period..more like migraines at that time.
i have anxiety and depression. major mood swings.
horribly painful periods. it hurts if i sit too hard and bowel movements while on my period feel like someones stabbing me and the movements are really small in diameter during this time which leads me to believe that maybe...if its even possible...that maybe my uterus or something swells up and compresses the bowel.
we do own a glucose monitor and my blood sugar will drop and i get shakey and sweaty when i have tested it while feeling this way the lowest its been was 58. Then there are times i feel dizzy and nausous and i have tested it and it was 223 at the highest that was however about 30 min after eating icecream.
i have had my thyroid tested and the results were normal. usually i am told that its hormones however since my periods are regular the levels have never been tested. i am just so tired of feeling like crap! someone please give me some ideas.
Like i said, so sorry this is so long. thank you all for your time.

  • I know what you are going thru! I am seeing a series of symptoms that most doctors cannot explain. If they do not have an answer then they make it seem as thought the patient is imagining or over-reacting. I find it troubling that they take an oth but yet have lost any passion or drive to figure out what is really going on. I have been battling almost the same stuff. Our backgrounds are similar too. The fatigue has been terrible for me too. I have been sleeping nearly 18 hours most days. I used to operate on 4-6! So I had these sensations in my brain a few weeks ago. I know what happened but nobody takes me serious. It is a strange feeling to describe. Parasites are more common then most doctors care to realize. Many, many americans suffer infections without any diagnosis. It can cause Cancers, MS, and many other serious health problems. The sad part is that americans believe that only happens in foreign countires or under-developed places. Insects & bugs are more dangerous then we realize. It is a scary thing so I see most info is limited.Chrons Diesease, Fibromalatia, and many of the other diagnosis that exists have all the signs of a parasite. So why is it tyhat we are not batter at treating & diagnosing? I am not selling anything or trying to scare you in any way. I am suffering and my toddler has many signs too. I have tried so many things, video, pictures, journal, and just offering little bits to various docs & still not 1 has given us the benefit of investigating. I just thought I would offer this because it took me several months to find the information that fit our symptoms. You are not crazy, just suffering LAZY doctors! I hope that you get some info that may help you! Good luck and god bless!
