I have been to multiple doctors over the past few years and none can give me any answers. I have a series of symptoms which come on every few months and last anywhere from 2 weeks to 8 weeks then the symptoms ease off and I feel fine until the next round comes. I have muscle cramps and spasms in my back and legs, I will actually wake myself during the night with muscle jerks. Constant lightheadedness, joint pain, left side abdominal pain, nausea, weakness and chest pain. At times when the chest pain and muscle spasms are at their worst, I will loose the ability to move my legs or stand or feel anything starting from my feet up moving towards my waist. The last ER visit the doc told me i was dehydrated, hooked me up to some IVs and sent me home after 14 hours in the ER. I had no sensation in my legs for 6 hours and unbearable chest pain. The heart monitor would jump all over the screen and my pulse would go from 58 to 130. I am lost at the next step to go, or what kind of specialist i should seek out next. Any suggestions would be great as I am so tired of being fatigued and in pain.
