OK. Here we go...
HAVE been diagnosed with
Bi-polar disorder and
Boarderline personality
had a serious wheat allergy as a child. (can not get anyone to specifically retest for that.)
am 45, overweight, smoke, live in a house of smokers, have a sister with MS, diagnosed with thrush at the beginning of all this (about 4 yrs ago) told I have staff (in my nose) oh yeah, Type 2 diabests (daughter has Type 1, mother -mine-has type 2)
have switched shrink drugs several times
abilify made me sick-I lost 50 lbs in a month or so, but Dr said it wasn't a side effect. I was able to eat after I quit taking it-and quickly regained the 50 lbs!
Am EXTREMELY resistant to pain meds, all of the ones I've tried so far.
Symptoms:
intermittant pain. Usually begins with my muscles spasms. Usually in the legs (siatica) sides of my calves and thighs. Sometimes hamstrings, but not as often, back, trunk, fingers. the sides of my hands-pinkey down to my wrist are usually.Basically throughout my skin. What starts as "jumping muscles" ends with my skin being hyper sensative. Even the shower hurts, and we don't need to talk about cold vs hot-anything warmer than luke warm is painful. I get to the point that anything touching my skin is painful
I've also started to get dizzy if I move too fast. and I lose my balance easily.
I suck my teeth. ;-}
My toes are ALWAYS cold-sometimes to the point of feeling like they're burning., but the rest of me can't stand the heat.
not too many headaches.
vision is very blurry-at night. But Dr says it's fine.
period flow has gotten progressivly heavier.
I am slowly slowing down, walking, talking, moving.
I am forgetting/misplacing things more and more. My brain is mush.
I have cut my beautiful long blonde hair pretty short, because I'm having more and more trouble keeping it up....myself totally, keeping it up.
I spend most of my day is spent in bed. I try to force myself to play the paino once a day. Some days I can play for 45 min or so, some days I can't even finish one song. I go until my fingers won't.
I have been seeing military Drs until March, when my disability came thru. Now I get to see civillians. I think I have seen someone in every speciality out there out there. Even being a guinea pig (which yu are in the military system) hasn't helped. They have all said "I have no idea. Let's send you to.....fill in the blank. Of course nobody has found anything.
I think that's it, but I am sure I have forgotten something.
Any ideas??

Top right above the eye is all I can feel. I have had a heavy soled shoe thrown full forced and hit me square on the left side of my face-fortunately for her, it didn't hurt. I often scratch my face withmy nail to check how it coming along. Yesterday I got a timy bit more sensation in the mid left side of my face-basically me cheek. Schratched hard enough to leave a mark, but felt almost no pain. The rest of my face? nothing but pressure.

  • Look up Addison's Disease. This is a disease of the adrenal gland located above the kidneys. It's mal function robs the body of cortisol, causes severe mood swings often misdiagnosed as bipolar disorder. Severe fatigue, vomiting, strange pains all over the body are usual because of the hormone the body is missing. Diarrhea is common, and if you don't get it treated, it can be fatal over time. Most people catch it before they die because when they are in a 'crisis' they are vomiting so heavily they will end up hospitalized. It can be triggered by a subsequent infection such as staph or strep and others. Here's the link to the Mayo clinic's website, but the mere suggestion of it to your doc should get him to do the test. If not and you feel that this may be your problem, do what my husband and I did and keep going to another doc until one agrees to do it for you. I hope this helps.
