Hi All, I originally posted this under the brain problems but no replies!

Sorry if it's too long but.......

I had an unpleasant experience following an accupuncture session a few years ago, instead of the usual 40 mins of treatment they subjected me to 3 hrs followed by burning the areas as well! I felt okay for approx half hour to an hour and then rapidly went down hill. It was as if someone had spiked my drink, I was delirious, vomiting, didn't know where I was or where I was going. I had a 2 hr journey home on train and by car and thank goodness I wasn't alone, because I do not know how I got home only what has been told to me since. I was extremely ill for four days, ie, like a vegetable I couldn't hold a proper conversation, lights on nobody home! For two weeks pretty ill still and to this day I have not recovered! I have poor memory or none sometimes, I cannot remember my words or English grammar that has been engrained for years, I cannot do simple sums, I cannot read a book because I cannot remember what was on the previous page, I go out and forget where I am going or I get lost on roads I have known for years, I come out with the wrong words in a sentence, I can't multi-task anymore, I can't text quickly, I can't even write and speak at the same time! I used to have a high IQ and a photographic memory so this is a complete nightmare I am living, trying to run my own business and become more incompetent each day!

My MRIs are clear and my blood tests normal, my neuro-psychological profiling says a negative bias on the left hemisphere but doesnt say how or why or how I can rectify it! Due to the fact that I still operate at an above average level, so they think, I don't have a problem! If only they could walk in my shoes, this is a liviing ***l! It is as if I have early onset dementia or I am recovering from a stroke! I am only in my 40s and have a family and a business and they say I have none of the dementia or mad cow diseases!

Pleeeease has anyone any ideas?
