I have been experiencing the following:

Visual snow
Visual disturbances
Brain Fog
Fatigue
Excessive thirst and urination

I have been to a few doctors to no avail. I keep thinking my condition is related to food or beverages, but I am not certain. The correlation with food could just be attributed to blood going to my digestive system. I have had the following tests.

CBC
Metabolic Panel
ANA
Lyme Titer
Cardiac Stress Test
Echo
EKG
AM Cortisol
Chest xray
Visual exams from ophthalmologist
3 month blood glucose

The following are out of range:

-Elevated hematocrit
-Elevated hemoglobin
-High Cholesterol
-Low Carbon Dioxide
-AM Coritsol was at the top of the range 22.9

My doctor pretty much has given up on me. She just thinks it is all in my head. I had significant vision loss, so I know something is going on. My opthalmologist thinks I have something going on with my general health. I agree. All of my symptoms seem to happen at the same time or are related. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Hello navyguitar,- Some of your symptoms are pointing out the problem with your central nervous system:"Visual snow Visual disturbances Brain Fog" = this may be caused by degeneration process in the visual-controlling nerves in your brain and cerebral vasoconstriction in some areas of the brain. Usually it can not be checked by ordinary tests like MRI, CT, etc. Only specific methods, for example angiography (MRA/CTA with contrast agent) can detect a pathology. Actually, there may be other reasons but these ones are more common.- "Fatigue Excessive thirst and urination" = for these symptoms the possible causes are ambiguous and not so obvious. Here may be such problems as: hypoglycemia (in most of complicated cases and for first stages of disorder it can not be checked by measuring glucose level in the blood), system disorder of the fibrous connective tissue, kidneys and bladder disorders and much more. This is only my first suggestion based on my first look, it should be investigated more deeply. If it is necessary, I can give a complete diagnostics of your diseases.

  • Hello, I hope you’re doing well! :) My name is Sierra. I also have Visual Snow and am spreading the word about our condition. Research is underway to find a cure, but in the meantime, we’re spreading awareness. I (along with several other world-renowned doctors/specialists) am hosting an event, the Visual Snow Conference, to raise awareness for Visual Snow and explain what we 100% know about it thus far. It’s taking place in San Francisco, USA, on May 5th of this year. We would love for you to join us! (Please visit visualsnowconference.com if you’re interested and register to help our cause) Thank you!
