I’ve been having bowel problems for a very long time. It stared as constipation, but now it’s as if my bowel is ‘paralyzed’. No movement whatsoever. I have to use enemas each day and if I leave it to ‘wait and see’, I get really ill.
I’ve had all the tests done. Blood test, stool test, thyroid & colonoscopy. They can’t find anything wrong. I’m seeing a nutritionist for about a year now and I’ve changed my diet and I’ve tried all sorts off herbs, bifidobiotics & bowels cleansing remedies, but nothing. I’m also having colon hydrotherapy done.
I’ve tried all sorts of laxatives too, but it only works for a while and it causes a lot of pain. Needless to say, I’m always in pain & discomfort.
I’m sitting with my hair in my hands and I’m soooo frustrated! Is this the way to live for the rest of my life? I hope not. Like I’ve mentioned, I think my colon’s muscles doesn’t contract anymore.
If anyone has any advise I would be very grateful!!
Thanks for taking the time reading this.

  • I think you should seek proper medical help with this. There are a number of reasons why you could be having these problems and you shouldn't just assume it is constipation. Lots of people suffer from this of course, but it might be possible that you have a partial blockage somewhere. You might have weak bowel muscles, but it is impossible to say. I think you should stress to your doctor the severity of your symptoms. Good luck!
