I know this seems to be a very complex area, but if anybody could ease my frustration, I would appreciate it! I feel like im dropping to bits.
I had a first appointment with a neurologist, and felt very let down to be honest. I feel he rushed me through because he was running behind, and the way he rushed the questions he asked me, led me to forget to mention half of my symptoms! He did a reflex exam, said that was normal, and arranged for me to have a brain scan, which I have not had yet.
Im 30, have always been in good health. I had blood tests done which came back normal, apart from one blood test relating to bones and liver. This test was slightly out of normal range.
I've been having some issues with muscle aches, mainly noticable in my limbs. Most of the time they are just shooting aches and can go from one arm to the other, or arm to leg for example. Sometimes they get really bad particularly in my lower arm, wrist and hand area, and cause weakness in my hands and pevent me from lifting.
I also get very tired, infact I feel worn out and achy, almost like flue symptoms. This can come on all of a sudden.
Sometimes when I am sat still, it feels like im shaking, almost like a small earth tremor. Although I dont appear to be shaking.
When relaxed, mainly with my feet up, or in bed, I get a sudden twitch, where a leg or my upper body will ***k, quite a lot sometimes!
Other things to mention...dont know if they could be related or not...are that one of my ears occasionally feels as though its blocked with water, and pops a bit. I play piano, and sometimes find it difficult to keep in rythem, with a very slight delay. I seem to get tripped up on words sometimes when talking and sometimes find it difficult to recall the words that I need.
