My mother told me she has been having a weird symptom for the last week. She said she cannot let her hands touch any part of her body because it feels weird, not even each other. I remember yesterday after work she was feeling cold and her right arm had goosebumps, but we were at the Auto Zone and I felt normal. I didn't press for more information since I didn't think much of it. Now she tells me she is afraid of getting some sort of disease, I don't think its anything to worry about but in attempt to get her some peace of mind I thought I'd research it anyway and found this website. The closest I found is some kind of neurological symptom but I cant find what she has. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it, thank you.
P.S. Yesterday while she was working (shes a helper carpenter/scaffold builder in an land oil rig type place) she said her team was working between two "big heaters", where they could only work 10min at a time then leave to rest for a bit. Suddenly she started feeling cold so they told her to go down, drink Gatorade and rest till they finished, which she did till she got home. This happened AFTER her touching symptoms started according to what she told me. If this was the cause of her chills later that day please exclude the symptom. However, she may have lied about when her touching symptoms started so she wouldn't sound paranoid, I know my mother very well :). In other words the touching symptom MAY have started yesterday after work as well. Thank you. - Sincerely, and sorry for making this long.:)
