Need Info On Swollen Hand/Possible Heart Attack Symptoms

This morning I woke up with what felt like swelling in my hand and forearm. As the day has gone on, the swelling has gone down, but now I am experiencing heat in my arm that has radiated to my chest and stomach. It feels like heartburn, but I feel absolutely no pain (which is why I haven't gone to the ER). I'm not sure if this is heart related or a possible panic attack. I feel extremely fatigued, but am otherwise cognizant and breathing reasonably well (my heart sometimes beats relatively normally, other times it races). I also haven't felt any noticeable pressure on my chest, but it is concerning me that these symptoms persist. I have no health insurance, at the moment, so I am hoping to get some light shed on this before I go off for an expensive ER trip.

Any help would be appreciated.

How old are you? a preliminary examination by your physician needs to be done.

  • :):)Timmy T, you said you are concerned that the situation is persisting and you have some possible symptoms of a heart attack. You owe it to yourself and family to have it checked out, insurance or not. If you know you are prone to panic attacks, you might try an Urgent Care or other walkin type clinic (I know they will charge, but, you need to find out what is happening) before an emergency room. But, if you are in real physical distress, and, affects what you are doing and your sleeping, you need to have it checked out.
