I'm 21 years old and I had an almost fainting spell just last month. The reason why I said almost is because I knew exactly what to do when I start feeling that way (thank goodness for health classes!). After my spells I feel terrible. I vomit constantly and have diarhea for the rest of the day. I went to the dr and had blood tests done. All my tests have came back normal except they said my iron levels are almost anemic low. Now for the past week and a half I've been puking more than usual. Its starting to effect my life. I've gotten sick during a test, while exercising, just sitting down watchin tv, walking to my classes, etc. I drink lots of water so thats not an issue either. If anyone could help I'd really appreciate it cause I need some direction on what to do.

  • Celiac disease can cause anemia, vomiting and diarrhea. It can make you feel like crap, etc. So, it might be a good idea to make sure they are doing the tests for it. These include looking for antibodies, which may or may not show up; looking at your HLA subtype; and if all else fails, doing a biopsy of your gut to see if the lining in your small intestine is atrophied.Hope this helps!By the way, it sounds like you may be a college student. Some student health clinics aren't very advanced when it comes to making tough diagnoses, so beware! (my student health clinic missed my thyroid disease for 8 years!)
