Below is the list of symptoms I had typed up for my dr. I have found out I have narrowing in my cervical spine along with a bulging disk. Tne nuero surgeon that looked at my xrays and mri of my neck said that there is no compression on my spine so he does not think that is causing my symptoms. I cannot work and haven't since mid Feburary because I cannot stand more than 30 minutes without severe low back pain. I have no idea what to think and do not know what is going to happen next. Does anyone have anyh idea? I also have been diagnosed in the past with fibromyalgia and sciatica. I was sent to physical therapy for my lower back in Jan. and the pain has gotten so much more since then. I only had 8 physical therapy sessions.
The last several months my right leg goes numb, all the way to the toes. It varies from numb to pins and needles to burning and even what I call electrical bursts. My toes tend to get the pins and needles feeling after being on my feet for a few hours.
I get sharp shooting pain up and down both legs and arms. I also get them in my back, chest and neck.
My lower arms and hands go numb for no reason and get a tingling feeling. It gets worse at night when I try to sleep.
I am having a horrible time sleeping. I wake about every hour and a half to two hours, usually from pain somewhere in my body. I have a hard time getting back to sleep. My husband will not sleep with me anymore due to the fact that I move constantly in my sleep. He says I moan and make all kinds of noise. I have physically hurt him in my sleep before by swinging my arms or kicking.
My legs and arms get very weak after being on my feet for awhile. They feel like jello and I need to brace myself on something to be able to walk for fear of falling. Even a gallon of milk can be too much to lift. Going grocery shopping causes enough pain that I am in a great deal of pain by the time I get home.
After being on my feet, walking or standing, my back really begins to hurt. I feel majority of the pain in my lower back but my whole back will hurt. If I continue to walk or stand the pain moves down into my legs. It really becomes unbearable and has become so much worse since physical therapy. I have had to quit working because of this.
I am incredibly tired all the time and have days that I will sleep on and off all day.
I can't think straight, I feel like I am in a fog all the time and have headaches nearly every day.
I have had to greatly depend on my kids or my husband to help around the house. Doing normal housework has become very difficult. I avoid walking up the stairs in the house because I am afraid of falling. My legs get very weak, I have fallen once last fall.
My neck and shoulders are hurting more and it hurts to extend my arms in front of me or put them over my head. Like when driving with my arms in front of me they get weak and hurt.
I have been using the bathroom a lot more than normal and my IBS is acting up as well.
