I have been suffering since having a pain pump implanted in '04. It and all of the remnants have finally been removed. I have had MRSA, staph, and other bacterial and fungal infections all during this time period and have been treated with multiple antibacterial meds including extended periods of daily IV treatments. Now I am still suffering from severe burning pain which seems to travel all over my body depending on what position I am in (like gravitational pull). I have one pocket on my abdomen that swells and seems to expel a liquid into other areas of my body which can be legs, shoulder, chest, ear, neck, etc. No doctor can find anything wrong with any tests. Cultures of sputum, skin lesions, and one from a disc space have shown either a staph or fungal bacteria. My main symptoms are extremely painful burning just under the skin on my abdomen, muscle wasting, weight loss, burning in my legs, chest, throat, lungs, etc. depending on how I lie in bed or sit, or stand. Please if someone can help me before I die from this mysterious disease. I have a long history of medical problems which include COPD, Lyme disease, chronic back pain, and MRSA, Staph, etc. Please help me and my family if you can.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
