I'm 22 years old. In March I was put in the hospital for a low blood count. I had to get a couple of transfusions, and they finally diagnosised me with a kidney infection. I have had kidney stones before. In the hospital I had a trace of ketone, blood of 2+, protein of 1+, nitrite of positive and wbc of 2-5, rbc 5-10 and bacteria of rare. I took what I though was a kidney stone for an analysis and then called to follow up with it and they told me that it was protein and that was the end of the conversation. At this point I'm put on magnuisum and iron. I have been doing research on the internet and it sounds like my kidneys might be my problem. Please let me know if anyone has any answers.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
