I'm a male teenager, currently 17 years old. I have been pretty healthy all of my life, but over the past year or so, I have been been experiencing several things that make me feel that there may be something wrong.
First off, I am unable to gain weight. I am 6', current 124 lbs. I eat 3 or more meals a day. I drink about 2 liters of fluids a day.
There are days when for no reason what-so-ever I will drop 5 or so lbs.
Despite all of this, I believe that I have very low blood pressure. It happens quite often that I stand up and suddenly become to light headed and disoriented that I fall right back to the ground. This has also happened before while walking as well as while sitting.
Occasionally I feel a pain in my chest. The only thing that helps to relieve it is to resist breathing. It goes away after a few minutes, but while it is there, it is sharp.
Im not sure what all of this could be. Someone mentioned the possibility of diabetes to me a while ago, but im not sure what constitutes having diabetes, etc.
