I am having touble sleeping properly. When I do sleep I have dreams that are very real and I remember them very clearly. However I find that the next morning I am extremely tired and feel like I have not slept. This has been going for two years and I have had enough I need a good night sleep. I am under stress and have been for two years due to a break down in a relationship, but my dreams are really bothering me. Does anyone know where I can get some help from?

  • Look up "chronic insomnia". A million tricks and habits to try before you get some prescribed sleeping pills. Have you tried Tylenol-PM and those over-the-counter remedies? Also, some counseling for your bad break-up couldn't hurt either. Sweet thoughts will give you sweet dreams. Don't watch scary or violent movies. Get a self-hypnosis CD to listen to. Get up and just sit in a dark room. Don't watch TV in bed unless it's a comedy.
