It has been four months now since I first started to have these sypmtoms. I'm 23, female and I have been getting quite bad pain in my neck and shoulder (just the right side) during sleep and in the mornings. This seemed to spread to the fingers on my right hand and I've noticed that the fingers are also very swollen and I have trouble moving them, they are also painful to touch. The swelling/pain does go down somewhat as the day goes on but not completely. It started gradually with no injury.
I have been to the doctors uncountable times whenever it has gotten worse but they're not sure what it is. I have had two blood tests so far, one for problems with goiter, another for any signs of what could be causing the swelling in my fingers. I've also been to a clinic where they looked down my throat with a camera and gave me a scan on my neck. Nothing has been found so far.
About a month before this all happened I also started getting severe foot pains when trying to walk, although I've been told that this is probably plantar fasciitis.
I've been getting the impression that the doctors want me to just wait to see if it goes away, maybe it will but I was just wondering if anybody had any ideas? As it is getting worse and I'm having real trouble with it now.
Sorry for the rant.. any help aprreciated.
