It's been a month since I first went to the Dr. She was convinced it was thyroid and too bloodwork. She also put me on meds for a sinus infection for 10 days. Said blood work tested normal and she was surprised it wasn't thyroid. I have about 75% of the symptoms. Planned on doing neck ultrasound, later changed her mind and has now put me on allergy meds. I've never had allergies to anything before. My most major symptom is neck/collar bone pressure, and mild to worse burning sensation mostly in collar bone only on left side, pain in neck/shoulder area comes and goes. Have swollen lymph nodes in addition to. I'm not sure where the Dr is going with this. She first suggested physical therapy for the neck/collar pain and burning. I argued it was not an old injury as it seems my throat has gotten somewhat hoarse. My sinus symptoms seem to come and go a few times per week, again mostly on my left side. A week ago I had shoulder pain as if I banged my shoulder and was bruised - this lasted about 5 days and is now gone. Get mild neck pains coming and going. Anyone have any thoughts? I lost my job and hope to be starting a new one so needless to say I don't have health insurance. So that has made it difficult to consider switching Dr's. I would love to see a specialist but normally your Dr has to send you.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
