Hello Im a 19 yr old mom who could really use some advise what to do here, its hard because i dont have a doctor which is really hard to find in my city and i've tried the E.R plenty of times i was rejected there and told to find a doctor...
but anyways it all started last june I went swimming and had the chills and felt ice cold for 24 hours slept it off with plenty of blankets then broke out a very bad fever and aches and a bad rash bumps on my hands which i ended up going to the e.r then the next i felt as if my throat will to exact " font of the neck" went swollen out of no where so i went back to the e.r they said it was nothing but ever since then i've had trouble to swollow i have to really gulp it started off with the one side of my neck i guess where the throat tube is i looked up sounded like it located in the thryiod glands, even tho i got a thryiod blood test done it came up neg and never had any other exams done...
Im just wondering dose this sound like cause from infection or allergy or could be something related after having my baby?
please help im scared, what can i suggest or say to medical professional to get their attention on this? this is very unfortable im scared it will spead or close up on me, not sure what could happen.

  • Yes, throat swelling *is* very serious, and you need to see an allergy specialist ASAP. Make sure you mention yout throat when you call for an appointment.
