Hello all,
My names Jenny, im new to this site and wondering if any one can help!!
Where do i start!!!!!
back in march april 2010 my left foot started swelling and became extremely painful, had slight swelling in my right foot but not as serious as the left! went the doctors several times before they decided to refer me to a consultant in the local hospital! The consultant didnt really know what to do or say at the time and called me mystery woman as she didnt know what was causing the swelling but put me on tablets etc which didnt work! so i had x rays which didnt show up anything then i had an isotope bone scan which showed up that i had inflammed bone/joints on the left side of my left foot!! she sent me for cortisone shots which worked for a few months and swelling went then i had a few more shots which havent worked at all! I recently had another bone scan which shows no change at all to the inflammed bone!!!! i have been on every tablet available but nothing works to ease the pain and at the minute im on Pregabtin (if thats how you spell it) but thats not working either! It feels like someone is pulling my bones apart when im walking with an extreme burning feeling inside my foot, it feels broken at times!! iv seen 3 specialists so far and not one of them knows whats causing it! At first they thought it could be Complax regional pain syndrome but thats been looked into and iv been told its not that! I suffer with extreme shooting pains down my left arm and recently my hair has started falling out! Im sitting here now writing this and i dont dare move my foot, its aching so much but i know as soon as i move it or my toes ill get that sickening feeling!! Can anyone help or give me ideas to what could be causing it?????????????????????? xxxxxxx
