I'm 34 and have had nausea, vomiting and sever stomach pain every morning for the past year. It happens at the same time every morning along with the same symptoms. I wake up nauseated then vomit with sometimes it being dry heaves all while having extreme lower abdomen pain. I've had a number of tests which all come back normal. I find relief in taking a hot shower. After the sickness passes in the morning I feel fine and eat normal the rest of the day. I've seen many doctors and have gotten nowhere. Anybody have any ideas?

  • Have you had an upper and lower G.I series? Have any of your lab tests shown any abnormalites at all, even slight ones?

Thank you for asking......yes I have had the G.I. series and came back normal both times. All my lab tests come back normal. I've had 3 endoscopies and 2 stomach emptying tests which the endoscopy showed esophagitis and the stomach emptying was normal. I was treated for the esophagitis. I had bad acid reflux in the beginning stages but was put on Prilosec and it cleared up. I went out on a limb and thought it may be food intolerance, cut out gluten and dairy but continued to vomit everyday. Even when my stomach was empty for about 36 hours I still continued to have dry heaves. I feel stuck at this point, doctors just have no idea what it could be.
