I woke up one night with terrible pain on the left side of my abdomen, 7-8 years ago (I was 21 when it started). I’ve been in constant pain since. The pain has since moved to my entire abdomen, under my breasts on down. The pain will spike and become unbearable & my muscles will tighten in my abdomen and I shake uncontrollably. I just lay there crying, no pain killers I have found can even touch it. I get bruising on my legs, ulcers in my mouth, nausea, weak, passed out, somtimes my abdomen will swell, etc. My legs and feet will turn purple if I stand for 10 minutes. I will either gain weight uncontrollably or lose it. I’ve had many tests over the years, CT Scans of abdomen, MRI’s of head and spine, Colonoscopy, endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, small bowel series, tested for celiac disease, acute intermittent porphyria, etc. No one has a clue. Now the left side of my face, mouth, throat, etc, is numb/asleep. Any ideas will be GREATLY appreciated. I’ve pretty much given up on doctors.:(
