My son is a high functioning autistic boy with moderate asthma. He has been complaining of lower back pain for several weeks. Massage and ibuprofen alleviate it but it always comes back. He does have fairly frequent headaches as well. In the past three months, he has also had three strange vomiting episodes: each time he had NO prior symptoms whatsoever. He woke up in the middle of the night, vomited violently for about an hour, then was able to go back to sleep. There was no fever, no diarrhea, no nausea or any other symptoms during the day. I'm not sure if all these symptoms together may point to something comprehensive or if they are unconnected.
