Hi there I am getting concerned as I have been visiting the gp and the hospital now for 3 months and still havent got any diagnosis for my symptoms.I have constantly had colds flus and infections for over a year now .I just get rid of something and get another thing within a week .I also have been having a lot of pain on the lower left side of my ribs and sometimes on the sternum area. This seems to flair up usually coupled with a fever and shakes ,then die down for a week or two then happens again .I have had various tests and these are the conclusions of them .Ihave had a raised esr of 70 percent ,poor liver function, protein in the bone marrow ,and hot spots showing on a bone scan .All xrays I have had to date have been fine .Recently over xmas and new year U have been really poorly.I had two days of shaking constantly with a high temp and being sick ,then I got a really bad cold for a week ,then I got an infection in my mouth with abcesses ,an earinfection ,sore throat .Now I have got thrush but I think that is off the antibiotics I have been taking .I just need some answers as I am back at the hospital on monday for a skeletal survey done and just need an end to this .

  • I dont live anywhere near phone masts or antennas so I dont really think it could be related to this .I have been googling a few things (I know I shouldnt ) and a lot of arthritic conditions have these similar symptoms and test results but the doctor said I had no rh factor in my blood so she ruled this out .I only mentioned Myeloma as my own gp told me that the doctor from the hospital has requested another urine sample to test for bence jones and myeloma screening .I wasnt sure what this was until I googled it to find out .Just really need some answers now which I dont seem to get from the doctors its just always more tests .
