Help!

I work as a customer service rep for a large health related online services. I am supposed to work day and night moderating the message board for my company but I keep falling asleep soon after sitting down in front of the keyboard. This has caused a lot of problems at work.

I drink lots of coffee hoping it will keep me awake but it doesn't. I have tried supplements and avoiding tap water, and that doesn't work. I stopped taking my anti-depressent medication; I am happier off it but I still am falling asleep.

My body temperature seems really cold at night and in the mornings.... until after about 10 am.... when I start sweating profusely. The sweating continues until late in the afternoon, when I start getting dizzy and my mouth starts to seem very dry.

My job is suffering; as the message boards go south when I fall asleep. Then my boss gets very mad, because the trolls got away with things that they shouldn't have gotten away with at all.

I am at my wits end. I need this job as my money is tight, my wife has been sick since camping up in Canada. The drs think it is Lyme disease. I think they are off base, but what do I know. My kid is not doing well also. My kid has problems in school; and cannot concentrate. She always has bad stomache aches; nothing ever helps her pain.

I don't drink. I don't smoke. I don't do drugs. I currently don't take any medications.
My dr has told me I have IBS and FMS. I did have a nasty flulike illness last winter; that made my stomach hurt a lot for quite awhile.

Can you help me save my job? I want my life back.

I want my life back.Shot in the dark but I'm suffering from nerve damage due to an untreated B12 deficiency and my body can't regulate its own temperature (I go from overheating to freezing constantly), I'm always tired, I've been dizzy for almost a year, and I always get aches and pains that feel like I'm coming down with something. I have a ton of other symptoms (damage to my eyes, confusion, irritability, memory loss, tingles in my arms/legs, etc.).It might be worth checking out your B12 level. B12 can affect almost everything in your body. All of my symptoms started to disappear after a few methylB12 supplements. I was off work since November and stopped driving around the same time - I just went back to work this week. B12 deficiencies can also cause depression and anxiety.

  • Im curious about why your doctors think it is lyme..but you dont. Is there actual indications that it is lymes? eg positive lyme tests? My dr has told me I have IBS and FMS. I did have a nasty flulike illness last winter; that made my stomach hurt a lot for quite awhile. Did this illness you have.. did it seem be be triggered at all by that nasty flul ike illness you had?? If so... Chronic fatigue syndrome is often triggered by a virus and one gets IBS and FMS with CFS. but if your doctors think it is lymes and you have tested positive for lymes (or had signs that you got tick bitten).. you maybe should be listening to them.

  • guys and gals! he said the docs think his WIFE has lyme also this diagnosis is simple, loss of sleep (staying up all night like you have to) causes neurons to regenerate and that can cause DEATH so find a new job, but dont quit the one you have now until you know you have the other job.

  • Huh? Loss of sleep causes neurons to regenerate and that can cause death? I would think that the regeneration of neurons would be a good thing? Are you okay this morning, Givenup? By the way, Lyme can be transmitted sexually, but you won't hear that in the media. HAHA actually you should read up on it. i had this problem where i stayed up all night and neurons regenerated (neurons ARE BAD not good) and my doc pretty much saved my life. blaze, dont talk about things you dont know about. let me give you a breif discription on how this works: you have neurons which allow your brain to function, but when you dont sleep those neurons panic, because your brain and body gets very tired, so they create more neurons to help you function (get it? lol) then they actually assist in not letting you get to sleep because they are trying to keep your body going. then your body starts shutting down because your brain is just to tired. 11 days without sleep is the recorded time of death also you can post all the links you want trying to disprove me, but ive gone through this so i know. learn before you talk about what you dont know about also im not ok this morning. but i do know what im talking about
