My wife for the last 6-8 months has experienced a "dr. jeckyl/mr. hyde" mentality. Mostly in the evenings she gets glassy eyed, with slurred speech and a wobbly walk. She's forgetful and extremely overemotional, dramatizing everything just to get into arguments with me. This is a complete turnaround from how she normally acts. I know it sounds like she's drunk but I know that is not the case. I'm begining to fear possible brain issues or something. Anybody know why she might be acting like this?

Usually blood sugars can dip in the afternoon and people with sugarproblems have been known to "appear drunk".

  • Maybe she should get an MRI for a brain tumor? Or Lyme can cause those symptoms, too...

  • Sounds like normal wife activity to me.Kidding!!I hope you find an answer. Honestly, if it's the same time of day, you have to worry about substance abuse, not just booze.
