The skin on the shaft of my 10-month old son's penis is swollen and soft. It looks like it would ooze liquid if I were to puncture it. When I change his diaper and clean it, it does not seem to hurt him at all, so I do not think it's very tender...but it looks painful. Usually when I push down on the skin around the penis, it will stretch out, but it's not doing that right now.
I've searched by sympton for babies and adult males on all kinds of medical webistes, but can't find anything that describes or even has this symptom. I don't know if it's something that needs medical attention or not.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what it could be and how it happened?
