My son woke up today with a round, red, slightly raised area on his thigh. The skin is slightly flaky on parts of it, but it does not seem to cause him any severe discomfort. It was not visible or at least not really noticeable when I put him to sleep last night (He is almost 2). The only other "symptoms" I can think that he has had is that he has been waking up really sweaty lately, sleeping a lot, and his bowel movements in the morning in his diaper are sometimes associated with some clear liquid (it does not appear to be thick or anything and may just be more sweat). Anyone know what could be going on here? Oh and I cannot find any sort of central bump to indicate an insect bite on the red area. I do not recall an injury of any kind, although he could have been playing and fell or got a rug burn or something that I was unaware of.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
