She was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. The doctor said that it is "smouldering" as in "inactive". However, she has had to have blood transfusions monthly and now more and more frequently. She just had one last week and now has to have another tommow because her hemoglobin is dropping so low. Her doctors can not figure out what the heck is going on or where the blood is going.
