Many people may dismiss this but its a serious problem, i dont know why and i dont know what this problem is.

I have a normal thight, infact i am currently a size 14UK size, but from my knee dowm to my feet it looks like half of my legs are missing.

From my knee down, the outer part of my knee to my feet seems fine but from my inner legs is hollow around the knee, and it appears that some sort of muscle or bone is missing and this flow down to my feet.

I have worn a skirt, and can only wear certain type of shoe as most shoes are always too wide yet my feet is long and i am a size 8UK.

An 8 years old can confortably wrap their wrist around my knees and i have no calf muscle.

My mum has the same problem but only with her left leg therefore she walks with a limb as the right leg is bigger than the left. She lives in Africa and no one know why she has this problem.

I have two daughters who now has the same problems, we have been dismissed by doctors and it breaks my heart when people call them ''stick leg''.

this is the exact same problem with my wrist, therefore i do not wear a watch or bangles as they are always too big, my upperarms appears fine.

Apart fron the embarassment, my legs hurt most of the time especially when i gain weight.

If anyone know what this problem is, or if there is a cure , please let me know.

Many thanks
