something is wrong with my knee. im not sure what it is but it doesnt hurt when i walk really just a little uncomfortable, but when i put my weight on it and bend it somethign pops. if i get active and lean a wrong way it just locks up on me. it hurts like right above my knee cap and there is a bruise right above it but i did not hit it. right where the bruis eis, is where it makes that popping sound. what could it be?

  • there are several things that can couse this. I have experienced this a few times but is has always gone away...if you have degeneration in your knees ( such as a lack of enough cartilage) due to sports, etc, this can cause it. you could have a knee out. typically, the tibia shifts a bit, and your knee locks up. i would have a osteopathic doctor or a chiropractor, or physical therapist take a look at it in case there is something wrong or it gets worse.
