My husband has been sick for past 4 days now, began w/ strong shivers literally for 2 hrs straight non stop followed by severe headaches, fever and very aching joints, feels extremely weak. He can no longer sleep at night from such a condition! This has been going on for few days now. Went to see a doc today who simply took a blood test and told him he thinks that its a viral infection which causes all these symptoms. He now sobs from the joint pain on his carpals and the tarsals / dorsalis pedis area, feet and toe joints. He is not a smoker nor a drinker, a healthy 28yr old. I am myself a nursing student in the accelerated program and only wish I would know how to help him besides for the regular plenty of fluids and motrin for fever and pains. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
