Hi,
After a work visit to India, I get this awful pain occasionally in my joints. They swell and then the pain is gone for a while. Once it strikes, I also feel this pain like a thread e.g. in my arm while my knuckles heart. Knees and feet are the worse making me immobile. Pain is mostly after 3 p.m while becoming unbearable in the evenings but curiously in the mornings is always least. 20 min. walking would do it and I will have feet pain following by swell etc.
The pain simply jumps from 1 knuckle to other or knee to elbow or shin to shoulder without any pattern from one day/week to the other.
Diagnosis for rheumatism has been negative.

Does anybody recognize the symptoms and can teach a leason to my doctor?!
thank you for taking this seriously.

This is very strange I had the exact same thing happen to me 2 years ago. I saw many doctors and at one point was diagnosed with rehumatic* fever. Specialist determined that RF was not the case. I was put on very high doses of prednisone and months later it went away with no explanation. Did your start out with a skin rash? I broke out in hives days before the migrational joint pain started... id be curious to learn more about your experience
