my dad woke up yesterday with his left eye smaller than the other and dribbling/water and also his mouth is going to one side, now he complains of pains in his neck, can someone tell me what that can be please. doctor gave him a injection in his cheek and medication. said maybe a stroke. can you tell me what to expect, and what are the dangers , also any useful information thankyou...

  • I do not know what it is. But I will offer some suggestions. It seems like it could be a stroke, or a mini stroke called a transient ischemic attack. Did your father's symptoms improve later, or stay the same? Tell the doctor and ask more questions. Maybe he should order an MRI of your father's head, to see what happened? Also, maybe it is arthritis of the neck, that has gotten worse? Keep asking questions of the doctor.
