My son is six months old he was born a healthy happy baby when i found out i was having him i was ecstatic i was so happy and the day i had him was the best day of my life. When he was about 1 month old his breathing was raspy it was like he couldn't catch his breath we took him to his pediatrician and he said they his nose was just congested to suck it out twice a day with saline and sent him home but then it progressed and got worse we took him back and he told us the same thing finally we took him to children's hospital and the diagnose him with laryngomalacia aka a floppy airway" and acid reflux started breathing treatments and zantac 3 times daily things cleared up fine. Then when he was 4 months old his breathing got bad again took him to the pediatrician again and he said his nose was full and to keep cleaning it weot better then took him to another doctor because we knew it was something else that doctor then told us is was a severe cold and his orginal pediatricion didn't believe in cold meds. He ggot better then a week later it worsened we took him to another doc and he diagnsed him with upper respatory infection and gave him an antibiotic when we took hayden for his check up the doctor nticed he wasnt gaining weight he was 6 months old and 14 lbs so he tld us to give him pediasure it worked for awhile he was gaining but then he stopped eating his jarred baby food and only taking his bottle and pediasure then he stopped taking pediasure and only taking his bottle we started worrying and callled the doctor he said to thicken the bottles then he wld gain weight and get full well then he got to the point where he just took 2 or 3 oz of a 6 oz so he continued to loose weight then he got to the point to where he didn't want to eat at all and when he did he wld vomit every bit of the formula he did take up and it was so bad that you would have thought a grown child had done it not a little six month old baby when we tok him to the pummnlogist he took one look at him and adnitted him we have been up here almst a week now and hes only gained a pound what is wrong with my baby?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
