Hello, I am a 29 year old female I have a 5year old son and with his pregnancy I didn't have any complications and all It was a totally healthy pregnancy. Since my son I have had a total of 3 miscarriages not including 2 pregnacies that both resulted in my babies having Renal Agenisis (Potters Syndrome). I am really at a lost for words because the first time this happened I thought it was a fluke, but the doctors say they have never seen this happen twice in the same family.
I really don't know what steps to take next, both my husband and myself have been tested for chromosome abnormalities everthing was normal. I have also went to a fertility specialist and all of my test were normal, we've gone to a maternal medicine specialist and did a ton of blood work and again they can't find anything wrong. I really need someones help! Tell me what step should we take next. My ob advised that both me and my husband have an ultrasound done on our kidneys and blood work done to make sure everything is in tact with us. Could you please tell me what specialist I should seek and what test should I ask for. I really need to know what the issue is so we can determine if we even want to attempt to try to have another healthy baby.
